SMVDU seeks entries for National Level Writing Contest

SMVDU Katra, 2nd August, 18. The Central Library at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra is seeking entries on ‘Digital Economy: Opportunities and Challenges’ and ‘Social Media: A Two Edge Knife’. Dr. Suparn Sharma, I/C Librarian, informed that UG and PG students studying in any college and university in India are eligible to participate in the contest. The winner will be honoured with appreciation certificate of INR 10,000/-, 5,000/- and 2,000/- as first, second and third respectively. However, five candidates will be awarded with INR 1,000/- cash each. The guidelines are easy to understand: word limit 2,500 to 5,000 in English/Hindi with font size 12 in Times New Roman for English and Kruti Dev for Hindi, and all entires must reach in word doc format via email to librarian@smvdu.ac.in by 10 August 2018, followed by a hard copy to event coordinator at National Level Writing Contest, Shri Mata Vaishno DeviUnversity, Katra (India). All entires will be checked for Plagiarism, and more than 10 percent will automatically disqualify the candidature of the contestant. The decision of the SMVD University will be final.
