SMVDU Students Participated in ‘National Integration Camp’, held at Haryana

03122021 newsNSS Volunteers, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), participated in the ‘National Integration Camp’, held at MDU, Rohtak (Haryana). The National Integration Camp (NIC) is organized every year for a week with a day-night boarding & lodging. Only two NSS volunteers (01 boy and 01 girl) from each University are allowed, and each camp consists 200 NSS volunteers to undertake the scheduled activities. This year, Arnav Sharma and Jasmine Raina, from SMVD University participated in this national level event.

During the camp, they took part in various activities like Yoga, Plantation Drive, First Aid, etc. and they also attended various guest lectures while representing the culture of Jammu and Kashmir with a performance on dance, music, poster making, speech, debate and skit. The students got an exposure to a great extent which will definitely motivate the future members of the NSS in the university to represent it in the upcoming National Integration Camps.
